LET’S MAKE IT OFFICIAL! WE’LL EMAIL YOUR INVOICE AND rental agreemenT. A 50% DEPOSIT IS due to secure YOUR event date AND THE Final payment IS due SEVEN days prior to YOUR event date.
IT’S PARTY TIME!
ON THE DAY OF YOUR EVENT, THE Alpha-Lit KC Team delivers and installs your marquee display. WE’LL provide ALL THE necessary extension cords and equipment for your setup. WHEN YOUR EVENT IS OVER, OUR Team will come back to breakdown THE DISPLAY AT THE AGREED UPON TIME.
What kind of power is needed for my setup?
A standard power outlet is required
Up to 9 letters can be on one circuit / standard power outlet* (*Exceptions include older buildings / venues with lower amounts of power)
10+ letters require 2 standard power outlets on separate circuits
Alpha-Lit KC is not responsible for insufficient, broken or damaged power sources provided by your venue/building or home. Power must be tested and approved prior to use
ALPHA-LIT KC USES 10W OR 15W BULBS IN ALL OF OUR PRODUCTS. WE CAN ASSIST THE CUSTOMER IN DETERMINING IF ONE OR TWO CIRCUITS WILL BE REQUIRED FOR THE SETUP BASED ON IT’S SIZE AND PRODUCTS ORDERED
What are the dimensions of your marquee products?
Our letters (A- Z) are 3ft tall x 2ft wide* x .5ft deep (Width exceptions include I, M, W)
Our numbers (0-9) are 4ft tall x 2ft wide* x .5ft deep (Width exceptions include 1)
Our symbols (! ? + & <3, etc) are all 3ft tall. Width varies but most symbols are between 1.5ft - 3ft wide.
Does Alpha-Lit provide appropriate extension cords and equipment for my setup?
Yes. Alpha-Lit KC provides extension cords (up to 150 feet).
If the setup is further than 150 feet from a power source, the customer is responsible for providing additional extension cords and power supply
aDDITIONALLY, aLPHA-LIT KC WILL PROVIDE EXTRA BULBS FOR YOUR DISPLAY, GAFF TAPE TO TAPE DOWN EXTENSION CORDS AND A RACK TO DISPLAY LETTERS ON TWO LEVELS* (*IF ORDERED)
My setup is outdoors with no access to close power, can I still rent and use your marquee products?
Yes. You can rent a generator to supply the power for your setup. it is the CUSTOMER’S responsibility to rent A generator and TO notify alpha-lit kc if a generator is needed in place of a standard power source.
You can rent our marquee letters/numbers and choose not to plug them into power (only suggested for daytime events)
Can your marquee products be outside?
Yes, our marquee products can be outside with the exception of high wind, rain or snow.
Alpha-Lit KC cannot control the weather. It’s the customer’s responsibility to have an indoor back up plan. refunds will not be issued for any circumstance weather related (including high wind, rain, snow) if there is no indoor backup plan.
Can the marquee products be stacked on top of eachother?
Yes! Our marquee PRODUCTS can be stacked on top of each other to be displayed on two levels. Racks are required to stack letters OR NUMBERS and can be ordered at the same time your marquee products are ordered. click here for more info on our two-level racks as well as a gallery.
Stacking limits are two levels high.
I want to put my setup in front of my head table at my wedding reception, can I do that?
Yes, you can put your setup in front of your head table (depending on the width) and taking into consideration standard table height is 32” tall and our letters are 36” (3ft tall) so the letters would go slightly above the height of the table. pictured below.
What symbols do you have in your marquee products?
We have a heart (♥), bridal ring, question mark (?), exclamation mark (!), plus sign (+), ampersand (&), hashtag (#), football and an apostrophe/accent. click here to read more about our symbols and see a gallery.
What color bulbs come with your marquee products?
All of our marquee products come with a classic clear 10W bulb. Colored bulbs are available to rent if you want a different color than classic clear bulbs. PLEASE CLICK HERE TO READ MORE ABOUT OUR COLORED BULBS AND SEE A GALLERY.
What color bulbs do you have?
Red, Blue, Green, Orange, Pink, Purple
We have limited quantities of colored bulbs per color. Please inquire about colored bulbs and if we have enough supply for the phrase you are wanting to order.

Do colored bulbs cost more?
Yes. Colored bulbs Are a $20.00 flat fee for up to 5 letters. Additional letters over 5 letters are $5/per letter
Can my setup be moved after it’s been installed?
No. Setups cannot be moved once installed. All setups require onsite contact approval and sign-off and if the setup needs to be moved prior to that sign-off, that can be done. for the safety of our customers and to prevent damage, The setup cannot be moved by anyone other than Alpha-Lit KC team members unless approved by alpha-lit kc prior to the event.
